Raging Waters

The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden

From the Baldwin Lake, a four-acre natural body of water in the heart of the Arboretum’s Historical Section, to the Queen Anne Cottage and Coach Barn, the Arboretum is an attraction that has something for everyone. The Huntington Library, Art Collections & Botanical Gardens

For qualified scholars, the Huntington Library is one of the largest and most complete research libraries in the United States in its fields of specialization. Collections include rare books and manuscripts, principally in the areas of British and American history and literature, 15th century European books, history of science, maritime history and Renaissance exploration and cartography.

The Art Collections are distinguished by their specialized character and elegant settings. In addition to being home to Gainsborough’s Blue Boy and Lawrence’s Pinkie, the Gallery has special changing exhibitions.

Henry Huntington began developing Botanical Gardens in 1903. Now they span nearly 150 acres with sweeping lawns and vistas interspersed with statuary, tempiettos, and benches.

The Irwindale Speedway

This new, state of the are, motorsports/entertainment event facility named Irwindale Speedway, features 6,500 seats, twin paved oval race tracks, parking for over 3,000 and 14 exclusive corporate “Sky Box” Suites. The Irwindale Speedway brings all the action, color, and excitement of close-up, paved oval racing to the region.

The Norton Simon Museum
