Business Climate

Within the San Gabriel Valley's 400 square miles, 31 cities and 5 unincorporated communities, the right environment for business can be found--as well as the resources to help business move in, get started and grow. In addition to the 40,000 small and medium-sized business establishments that form the basis of the Valley's business community, numerous Fortune 500 companies have major offices or plants in the San Gabriel Valley: Miller Brewing Company, Edison International, Avery Dennison and many others.
International Business

The wholesale sector is one of the San Gabriel Valley's biggest industry categories, representing over 13 percent of Valley businesses. A San Gabriel Valley Foreign Trade Zone has been established to make it easier and more cost effective for local businesses to participate in international trade.
Big Buying Power

Retail Sales in the San Gabriel Valley have reached nearly $17 billion annually, according to most recent figures. The San Gabriel Valley plays a crucial role in Southern California's retail market of over $237 billion - the second largest in the nation.
